How much does a privacy fence cost (per unit)? Where/how is the cheapest way to buy and install one?
l will have about 400 feet to fence in and l can not afford top of the
line.What are my best options?
Talk to Home Depot and have them show you the options available
and give you an estimate of the cost of installing 400 feet of it.
We install privacy fences in Colorado starting at $15 a foot.
Gates are extra, and removing an old fence is extra. You could save some
money by doing it yourself, if you want a cedar privacy fence. Home Depot
carries everything you will need and will cost about 9-10 dollars a foot.
If immediacy isn't a factor you can plant any of several
varieties of ligustrum.
A six foot hedge within one year is not uncommon.
Talk with a landscaper or call ur County Extension for advice about the
particulars [type, spacing, etc.]

Some Posts called T posts and some bamboo privacy rolled
fencing. Inexpensive, but I would say that 400 ft requires a good sturdy
fence or your throwing away allot of money cause the flimsy privacy fences
won't last but a season on such a large area.
